An excellent biography. I had trouble putting this book down. It has been a while since I learned about Alexander Hamilton, so everything seemed new. I also find it hard to believe that I haven't read any books by this author (at least that I'm aware of), especially since she has written so many. Narrative biographies are really making history come alive for today's students, and this one is one of the best. A great curriculum addition for middle schoolers.
