Sure hope this one makes the list-- couldn't put it down! I liked the premise, and I was touched by the characters. I especially enjoyed Lill and her ability to see the good in Lester.

Our staff at this library loved this book. It is a first published book by Ingrid Law who just happens to live close by in Boulder, CO. I have recommended it to several girls and will continue to do so. It is a great book.
How wonderful to have a savvy, and not have it ever once feel like a super-power! That made it all seem just a bit more possible, which of course makes it all the more intriging. What struck me the most however was the ending. It was happy and neat, but it doesn't feel "perfect." Which just made this book seem all the more real.
I also enjoyed this book a lot. It had fantasy elements to it, but it also was very realistic. Marra put it a great way about how wonderful it was to have a savvy but not have it feel like a super-power.
This is one of my favorites so far! I thought the characters were great, and the story funny and inspiring. Mibs was a great main character, and all of the supporting characters were right there with her! Definitely in my top 3!

I am not a fan of fantasy, but couldn't put this one down. Do you think readers of both genders would enjoy this book equally?
I really think it stinks that when I turned 13 I didn’t get a super power. What a great idea for a story. This book was a lot of fun to read. It moves radidly from being a family drama, to a great road trip adventure, picking up eccentric and fascinating characters as it careens down the highways. The use of folksy language is delightful, and gives Mib's first-person narration a sense of a grounded individuality.

Maybe you got a super power at 13 and you just haven't discovered what it is yet! (I'm still waiting to discover what MINE is... I'm convinced we all have at least one.)
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! One of my favorites of all time. I started one day and finished it that night. Amazing story, great characters, and I could visulize everything very clearly in my head. Could be a winner.
Savvy was a great read and I reccomended it to my little sis. She enjoyed it as much as I did. This was a very good book and I wish I had a savvy. Flying would be so cool. Unfortunately I have not figured my savvy out yet. This is definitely an award winning contender.
I look forward to discussing this one further. Lots to recommend it.
Ok, so this is one of my favorites thus far! I loved this book! I’m pretty sure that my savvy has not yet “emerged” but I would like it to have something to do with organizing.

Savvy was a great book. It was very adventurous and really fun. I now wish that I had a Savvy myself. When I started to read this book I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was a great book!
