An important book that gives a first hand fictional account of the Iraq War, but I didn't feel it was distinguished. Characters were not fully developed, and it lacked the immediacy you'd expect from a first person narrative.
i am 15 and i go to hunters lane high school i enjoyed reading this book, but in some places it got boring because it seemed as if the same things were happening everyday. it does give whoever reading a better look at the army and how hard it is for our troops in iraq i recommend this book, but not highly because it was very funny to me, but thats the only reason i finished reading it
