This book looks very interresting i found it in my school library
What a terrific, multi-layered story! I really loved it. Not wanting to verge into creating a SPOILER, let me just say I really appreciated how Abbott created not just one mystery surrounding the Grandmother and the strange postcards, but also explored the dynamics of family and relationships. And, oh the relationships! .... what IS the truth about Grandma? ... what's up with Dad and Mom ... even the contrast between Old Florida and new Florida creates a relationship as the locations in the various postcards take on personalities.
I couldn't finish it :(
This was not my favorite. There was a little excitement but not enough to make it into my top 10. I had a hard time reading it through to the very end.

For me, this is a longshot. I liked the book but didn't love it. He lives one town over and came to our library last month. He has a huge following among CT kids.
