A friend of mine sent me the link to your results...

Wow! Thank you all so much for selecting Savvy as your Mock Newbery Winner! I'm honored. With so many great books to choose from it must have been a tough decision.

I hope you had fun reading and talking about all of the books.

Here's to a new year filled with all new and wonderful books! Happy reading and thanks again the Savvy vote. You guys are awesome!

All my best,

Ingrid :)

Thank you!
It is so wonderful that both the adult group and the kids group honored Diamond Willow. I love the picture of all of you in front of the big globe holding the books you love. You are what makes the world go round.

I am a student in Kaysville, UT. We are doing the Mock Newberry award at our school. We read, Hate That Cat,Savvy,Willoughbys, Brooklyn bridge,Seer Of Shadows, and Knucklehead. I am voting for Savvy. I think most kids will like this book. We are going to watch the Newberry award ceremony on Monday with our librarian. I hope Savvy wins. For honor books I would pick The Willoughbys.

I am a student in Kaysvill UT. Our school did the mock newbery too. I think our "committee" agrees on Savvy. I really liked that book. I read: Savvy, The Underneath, Seer of Shadows, and Brookly Bridge. We only had to read three books. I voted for The Underneath because it had more themes, but Savvy was my favorite!
