I will be happy to visit Hard Pan as often as Susan Patron is willing to invite me.

I had quite the opposite reaction: why would I want to go back to Hard Pan?

Lucky is a predictably unpredictable kid and it just felt old. Especially the well predicament.

I liked this one a lot better than the first one. D'oh, I'm not supposed to compare them. I'll withdraw that statement.

This book contains themes that resonate for kids. That said, there's not much of a new twist to this one.
