This is a book that was suggested MONTHS ago by Peter who read it as an ARC. (We've been waiting to post the title on our blog until we had a circulating copy in the collection.) Here's what Peter had to say about this book:
This book was weird but in a very good way. It reminded me of a CLASSIC - almost like a cross between Separate Peace and Lord of the Flies and To Kill a Mockingbird. I know the description on the back of the book says this but it 100 % hits the nail on the head. It is a believable story with a nasty twist. It was sickening in some parts but extremely light in others. I really don't know how to describe it differently. It has opposite characters - from Willie who you sympathize with to rugged Reggie to James who is a happy medium between the other two. There are mini mysterious in between the main one but I would not even categorize this book as a mystery. It is a "love it or hate it" book and I hope you like it. I did even through its oddities.

It is a fascinating read, but I think maybe it's for older teens. I'll be curious what others think!
