I love this book. I love the simplistic style that it was written in. I think it is Newbery Material.

I also hope this one wins the Newbery. I've read many of the books on your list and I'm pulling for this one! I admit, I'm hoping for an accessible book for youngsters. Many of the titles on your list are in my system's mock printz award list.

I cannot put this book down. It is the first book I have read by this author and I love it. The names in this book are easy to pronounce. I love the concept of reading different mini-stories within the larger story--and how they are all connected. I hope this gets an award!
