I can't wait to meet Patricia Wrede. I loved Dealing with Dragons.

Thirteenth Child was an interesting read. Wrede has such a creative mind. Frontier magic, what an idea! Now I have to wait for the next book in the series :(

I read this one recently and thought it was a good read. I particularly liked that the parents were supportive and willing to remove their child from a situation that was damaging to her.
