What a clever idea. I'm not a poetry fan (I didn't think) but I read each one of these very carefully. Well worth your time.

I truly enjoyed this book! I think Reversible Verse is a great, different way to look at poetry. I would use this anywhere from elementary through middle school and I think that entire range of children would enjoy it!

I booktalked this book in the spring and read three of the poems pairs aloud. The kids really got it. This is a poetry book for people who love poetry as well as people who usually avoid it. The verses are clever and the style in unique. It's a Newbery Honor book, in my mind. I hope she writes more books in this format!

I am so impressed with the skill used by Singer in telling this tale in the manner that she did. It is a fascinating method and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I read it with my 11 year old daughter and we both loved it!
