I was pleasently surprised by this book. I usually am not a poetry fan, but I have been reading a lot of Mother Goose lately to my daughter and many of the poems in this book have the same rhythm. I can imagine reading it out loud to her and enjoying the read myself. This book was a great combination of poetry and information. The side bars really give a lot of information about the subject of each poem. Of course, the pictures are gorgeous too!
