My girls -- ages 10 & 12 -- both thought this was LOL funny. Me, not so much. I do think it paints a realistic picture of a young child's imaginative friends, but the character of Eggman kind of creeped me out.

OK, I must amend my first comment: once we got past the first story we liked it a lot better. But I still don't feel like this one is a real contender. It wasn't bad though, and did have touching moments when Lulu made some realizations about love, being loved, and friendship. And as a mother, I'm glad any child can imagine having a friend like Harry.
