What a great list of books. I am completely content with the winner, thrilled that Where the Mountain Meets the Moon received an honor and pleasantly surprised by Homer P. Figg. It was a fun year with some great books.

This is really cool. I'd like to try something like this at my school in Seattle.

I was also very glad that Where the Mountain Meets the Moon got an honor. I was somewhat confused while I was reading When You Reach Me, so I was suprised about that. Claudette Colvin was a very interesting story told in a very accessible voice. Thanks a bunch for having this blog. I really have fun participating!
