Truthfully, I found this book odd. I felt like Lois Lowry was trying to do a novel like Roald Dahl. But Lois Lowry isn't Roald Dahl.

I liked it, but I didn't love it. The ending was too abrupt and there were several things I found lacking. The general story was interesting, but I felt that there was not enough development of the princess and the ending didn't solve one of my biggest problems.

I thought this was a cute, quick read. My favorite parts were Princess Pricilla's lines about her cat, Delicious. I found myself waiting for those to pop up, just to see what word she would find to rhyme with next!

I was surprised with this book. From the cover I really did not think I would like it, but did end up enjoying it. It was very ridiculous and crazy, but it was a fun quick read.
