Fun book about a teen caught in a scenario so many kids can relate to--divorced parents, parents that embarrass you, feeling self-consciousness--and then just getting that glimmer of maturity and sense of self. Quirky, yet believable cast of characters. Pearsall always has layers to her books--in this case, the Elvis references--that are clever/interesting if you are just paying attention.
